William “Bill” H. Cosby- Prosecutorial Misconduct led to Wrongful Conviction
BILL COSBY CONVICTION VACATED WITH PREJUDICE
On Wednesday, June 30th William ‘Bill’ Cosby was released from prison after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court vacated his 2018 conviction for sexual assault. This ruling comes after Mr. Cosby had served his minimum sentence, three years, of a three-to-ten year sentence which was carried out at a maximum-security prison. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled that Mr. Cosby’s due process rights were violated when a non-prosecution agreement with a previous prosecutor determined that Mr. Cosby should not have been criminally prosecuted in the case.
