Galila has been a paralegal at the Bonjean Law Group since March 2025. In her role, she provides comprehensive litigation support, including organizing and preparing trial materials, drafting legal documents such as subpoenas and motions, and synthesizing complex discovery. She is actively involved in case preparation for high-stakes federal matters, including recent work on a nationally publicized defense case.
Before joining the Bonjean Law Group, Galila gained extensive experience across a range of legal settings, including plaintiff-side litigation, criminal defense, and nonprofit legal advocacy. She also helped develop a legal correspondence program for incarcerated individuals and contributed to early-stage nonprofit grant writing and legal resource development.
Galila holds a B.A. in Psychology and Criminology, Law & Society from the University of California, Irvine. As an undergraduate researcher, she contributed to studies on youth recidivism and civic engagement and received the Dean's Award for Exceptional Achievement in the Field.
Although originally from California, Galila now calls New York home. Outside of her legal work, Galila is actively involved in community service, volunteering with food justice initiatives and contributing to independent media as a photographer and writer.
Driven by a commitment to justice and systemic reform, Galila plans to attend law school to continue advocating for underserved communities through the legal system.
