Toi Chotoosingh

Toi Chotoosingh joined Bonjean Law Group in May 2026, bringing a diverse background in psychology, client relations, and legal support. Her interdisciplinary experience and commitment to professional development inform her thoughtful, client-focused approach to the legal field.

Toi earned her degree in Psychology from Baruch College, where her interest in the relationship between law and human behavior led her to explore forensic psychology. She later completed her paralegal certification at Duke University, concentrating on criminal and contract law. Toi is also a Certified GRC Professional (GRCP) and plans to pursue the Paralegal Advanced Competency Exam (PACE), administered by the National Federation of Paralegal Associations.

Before joining the firm, Toi participated in a legal fellowship in Madrid, Spain, where she gained exposure to international legal practices across several areas, including transactional, entertainment, family, and artificial intelligence law. She also had the opportunity to observe proceedings at Spain’s Constitutional Court, further broadening her understanding of constitutional law.

Toi brings additional practical experience from a high-volume insurance defense firm, where she drafted and filed legal documents, communicated with clients, and assisted with managing an active caseload. This experience strengthened her organizational, communication, and legal support skills in a fast-paced environment.

At Bonjean Law Group, Toi combines her academic background and practical experience with empathy, diligence, and attention to detail. Her background in psychology informs her understanding of the individuals behind legal matters and reinforces her belief that effective legal support requires both thorough preparation and an appreciation for each client’s unique circumstances. Dedicated to continuing her professional growth, Toi strives to support the firm’s work while helping ensure that clients’ needs and interests remain at the forefront.
